We are excited to introduce our new Middle School English Teacher: Name: Malisia Kerr -Tell us about yourself? I grew up on a farm near Weaubleau, and I graduated from Weaubleau School. My husband Chris and I have been married 12 years, and we have three children Wyatt, 10; Levi, 6; and Molly, 5. We live on a farm where we raise beef cattle along with chickens, sheep, and rabbits. This is my 14th year teaching, and I have taught elementary, middle school, and high school. -Why did you choose to get into K-12 education? I chose to become a teacher because I love working with children. I want to be a positive role model for my students and help them be successful in school. -Where is your favorite place in the world? My favorite place is at home on the farm with my family. -What are your hobbies outside of school? Outside of school I enjoy reading, writing, spending time with my family, canning, yoga, helping with activities at our church, and attending all of my kids' ball games and academic competitions. -What is your favorite meal? Fried fish, coleslaw, and macaroni and cheese -What is an interesting fact or detail that hasn't made the list yet? Our kids love Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, so two of our bulls have names of Ninja Turtle characters, Master Splinter and Donetello.
