Meet your Advisor/Counselor team!
Jessi Kilgore is Weaubleau's School Counselor, and will serve Pre-K-12th grade in the areas of class scheduling, dual credit enrollment, graduation requirements, and social/emotional counseling; as well as meeting monthly with elementary classes to focus on life skills.
Kristen Johnson is Weaubleau's College & Career Advisor, and will work with seniors on all areas of post-secondary planning (including scholarships and the financial process); and grades 7-11 on career exploration and post-secondary preparation.
Seniors can pick up information from Mrs. Johnson at open house, and meet with Mrs. Kilgore if they have any scheduling questions.

JH sports practices begin next week. JH boys basketball Tues, Aug 16 from 1-230, JH girls basketball 3-430. JH cross country Mon, Aug 15 meet in gym lobby at 8am.
Students in grades 7-12 can pick up their schedules on Thursday, August 11 from 8:00-3:00 in the High School Office.
New Student Enrollment is Wednesday, August 10 from 9:00-2:00.
HS fall sports practices start up this Mon, Aug 8. Softball 4pm and baseball 3pm. XC meet in the gym lobby at 8am.

We are excited to introduce our new Middle School English Teacher:
Name: Malisia Kerr
-Tell us about yourself? I grew up on a farm near Weaubleau, and I graduated from Weaubleau School. My husband Chris and I have been married 12 years, and we have three children Wyatt, 10; Levi, 6; and Molly, 5. We live on a farm where we raise beef cattle along with chickens, sheep, and rabbits. This is my 14th year teaching, and I have taught elementary, middle school, and high school.
-Why did you choose to get into K-12 education? I chose to become a teacher because I love working with children. I want to be a positive role model for my students and help them be successful in school.
-Where is your favorite place in the world? My favorite place is at home on the farm with my family.
-What are your hobbies outside of school? Outside of school I enjoy reading, writing, spending time with my family, canning, yoga, helping with activities at our church, and attending all of my kids' ball games and academic competitions.
-What is your favorite meal? Fried fish, coleslaw, and macaroni and cheese
-What is an interesting fact or detail that hasn't made the list yet? Our kids love Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, so two of our bulls have names of Ninja Turtle characters, Master Splinter and Donetello.
We are excited to introduce our new High School Science Teacher:
Name: Hannah Smith
● Tell us about yourself? I am a high school Biology and Anatomy and Physiology Teacher from Missouri. I have grown up in Missouri and graduated from Southwest Baptist University.
● Why did you choose to get into K-12 education? I chose to teach in high school to encourage my kids to become leaders, independent thinkers, and caring citizens in our global society. My goal is to encourage my students to make a difference in the world and become lifelong learners.
● Where is your favorite place in the world? My favorite place in the world is a tie between Alaska and Switzerland. Both are absolutely gorgeous and rugged. They are both very peaceful and have amazing biological diversity.
● What are your hobbies outside of school? I enjoy traveling, reading, farming/ranching, and hanging out with family. I also enjoy gardening and houseplants.
● What is an interesting fact or detail that hasn’t made the list yet? I taught for the past year in Texas at a small rural school and occasionally talk with a southern accent now. I am looking forward to starting at Weaubleau and teach more about the world in which we live!

Name: Breanna Daggett
Tell us about yourself? I grew up and went to school in Weaubleau, after I went to Missouri State University where I got my Early Childhood Education Degree. I recently got engaged and will be getting married in the fall. I am just so excited to be back in my home town with the opportunity to teach here.
Why did you choose to get into K-12 education? I have always loved working with children, it’s been a passion of mine. I grew up being the older sibling and older cousin and always enjoyed helping them with their assignments and projects, it’s just always been something on my heart that I thought was meant for me. Where is your favorite place in the world?
If I could go anywhere, Mountains would be my choice.
What are your hobbies outside of school? I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, playing with my two dogs, and enjoying activities with our Church.
What is your favorite meal? I come from a beef family, so steak is what we eat. What is an interesting fact or detail that hasn’t made the list yet? I come from a family of teachers and I’m so blessed to have them to look up to. My Grandma has been teaching for 46 years and my Aunt and my cousin both are teachers as well.

Name: Calab Kauffman
● Tell us about yourself?
- I graduated from Weaubleau in 2013. I went on to play college baseball at Evangel University where I also majored in Elementary Education. I spent the last four years teaching 5th grade math and the last five years as the assistant baseball coach at Fair Grove.
● Why did you choose to get into K-12 education?
- I chose to get into education because I love working with kids. I wanted to be that role model/father like figure for those kids who need one. I also love coaching and I wanted to be around the game for as long as I can. Want to share things I’ve learned along the way and give back what the game gave me. My long term goal would be to become a principal one day.
● Where is your favorite place in the world?
- My favorite place in the world would either be out in the woods or on a baseball field.
● What are your hobbies outside of school?
- My hobbies outside of school are hunting, fishing, watching sports, cornhole, horseshoes, hanging with family and watching movies.
● What is your favorite meal?
- Fried venison with mashed potatoes, green beans, corn, and zucchini.
● What is an interesting fact or detail that hasn’t made the list yet?
- I like to make homemade ice cream.
We are excited to introduce our new elementary teacher: Name: Lindsey Morgans
● Tell us about yourself? Hello! My husband Eric and I have two wonderful boys. Cam is 8 and Bode will be one this fall. I just wrapped up my 7th year of teaching. I am from Weaubleau and am super excited to join my hometown district!
● Why did you choose to get into K-12 education? I wanted to make a positive impact on children's lives just like my teachers did when I was in school.
● Where is your favorite place in the world? My mom's house on Sundays. My immediate family gets together every Sunday for lunch and there is nothing better.
● What are your hobbies outside of school? Watching my oldest play baseball and football. In the summer we enjoy going to the lake.
● What is your favorite meal? Whatever my mom is cooking on Sunday.
● What is an interesting fact or detail that hasn’t made the list yet? I can snowboard and usually go during winter break!
